On the eastern side, some might consider it the slums, you'll find a few more shops, the new blast furnace, a furnace that requires a team of people to operate, but offers a benefit of only having to smelt half the coal required to make bars, and some cart transports, a new form of transportation that takes you to White-Wolf mountain (for 100gp) and Ice Mountain (for 150gp).
Menaphos is an extremely hostile city located in the Al Kharid desert. While it is wary of allowing outsiders to enter, one may gain enough of their trust to enter the resting place of their dead, Sophanem. As of yet, Menaphos itself is not open to any players.
Seamless environments have a negative social effect in that there need to be a large number of copies of the same game world to accommodate all game players. However, this problem can be remedied if real life friends arrange for their group to enter the same server realm.
